Jung i Tarot – Carl Jung and Tarot

99

Dragi moji,

Carl Jung: Tarot Cards Provide Doorways to the Unconscious, and Maybe a Way to Predict the Future

My dear,

After my story I shared with you about the connection between Jung and Tarot, I would continue to have a little talk on this subject. I noticed many texts and a story about the Jung’s obsession with Tarot. Jung did not come to Tarot by accident, relied on the teachings of Plato and Kant, in which he noticed the interest in unusual phenomena and their attempt to explain them. Jung continued where they stopped.

You noticed that the content and appearance of Tarot cards changed over the centuries. Elements present on the cards: air, fire, water and earth are the basis of each card. Jung’s division into the Major and Minor Arkans cards are based on archetypal- congenitally memory, a model of behavior based on the experience that has long accumulated in our subconscious, forgotten and unconsciously suppressed images and memories re-activated by looking at the tarot cards.

Tarot changed as our consciousness evolved, elements were added, the appearance changed, but the substance remained the same. Tarot card is a picture, a road sign or a message that contains the question and answer. All we need is already in us. Decoding these mystical images is an endless game in which we can gain new experience and advice. So, let go of fantasy, dreaming and enter into the mysterious world of Tarot, perhaps there is the answer to all our questions.

Yours,

Ana Secret
